The Longines 30CH in-house flyback chronograph movement was created in 1947 and is the direct successor of Longines' legendary 13NZ movement created in 1936, which was the first flyback chronograph wristwatch to ever be produced and is renowned as one of the best movements ever created. The 30CH, however, is also regarded as an impressive and truly important chronograph movement in its own right, essentially representing the end of the truly in-house Longines chronograph movements before the brand moved to a modified Valjoux movement platform.

CASE & BRACELET

The noble 36mm 18K rose gold case is in beautiful original condition, exhibiting minimal evidence of previous polishing as the original case geometry remains intact with only gentle signs of use present. The case retains its original Longines-signed rose gold crown and square rose gold pump pushers. The case back also remains in clean condition and shows gentle, yet expected signs of previous wear. The watch comes supplied on a 2pc handmade leather strap.

DIAL & HANDS

The original silver dial is simply exceptional. The red and blue outer timing scales give the watch a welcomed touch of color, and the dial itself has achieved an even, warm coloration throughout. The only elements of real age present is only nominal in nature and exists at the very edge of the dial, with no effect to the actual aesthetic of the watch. The original rose gold hands also remain in exceptional condition.
